Steven Brahms is a photographer, artist and director originally from Madison, Wisconsin. The day after receiving his BFA in Photojournalism from Rochester Institute of Technology, he moved to New York and quickly started his career as a photo editor for Bloomberg News. He honed his craft after working as an assistant and lighting director for some of the industries top photographers before going out on his own.

His work has been exhibited throughout the New York City area and in juried shows including The Art and Commerce Festival of Emerging Photographers. After winning their Early Entry Award, his first solo show opened March 2011 at 3rd Ward in Brooklyn, NY. The Survival Project is now available as a limited edition box set, designed by Doubleday & Cartwright, at Dashwood Books.

His clients include Hermes, Nike, Victoria's Secret Pink, Z Zegna, Michael Kors, Vogue, T Magazine, Art Review, Wallpaper, and S Magazine.
